Having trouble with your Wi-Fi?

How do I test my connection speed?

You can use our speed test to measure your current internet connection speed.

There are a few things to consider before you begin the test:

  • The speed test should work in any web browser that supports Flash. (At least Flash 8 is required to use the current version of the speed test.)
  • JavaScript is also used heavily throughout the site, even to display Flash, so make sure you don’t have JavaScript disabled.
  • Directly connect your computer to the modem. Testing via a wireless connection yields varying results that don’t represent your service’s full potential.
  • Close other programs using the Internet, disconnect from VPN, and make sure you are not downloading or uploading anything.
  • Turn off other computers, tablets or gaming consoles that share your home network.
